So, what is latex floor screed?

Latex screed is a thin layer of smoothing compound typically 3-10mm thick that is used to create a smooth, flat and level surface in preperation for your new flooring to be fitted.

Latex screed is much smoother than a typical cement mixture and can be laid on top of concrete floors to act as a floor finisher or for use beneath additional floorings, such as sheet vinyl flooring, Vinyl tiles or Karndean Flooring.

It is also used in commercial enviroments to even out old sub floors ensuring it is safe and level to walk on once the flooring is in place.

We also use fast drying screeds where we are working to specific time scales.

Flexible screeds can also be used to repair damaged wooden subfloors where some movement in the floor would usually damage traditional levelling products.
